Stole the Girona to Andorra route. We go to Girona for the duration of the Tour de France every year. Ride bikes in the am and watch the tour (usually at HCC) in the afternoon. If there’s anything you’d want to mention about that route you’d change. Don’t hesitate to let me know haha. Cheers.
The route is spectacular. Would highly recommend stopping in Campdevanol (just after Ripoll) - there's a little Q8 gas station on the right. That's pretty much the last sign of civilisation until you hit Puigcerda. Apart from that, the route is 10/10. There are some points where it seems you're taking the less obvious road, but it's a back road/lane/quieter option and is well worth following perfectly. I wouldn't change a single kilometre to be honest. Even in summer, make sure you have a buff/rainjacket 'just in case' for the top.

Thanks for the heads up!
